We constantly strive to bring the best services and features to you, our customers and users, on our mission to connect the construction industry and support you on your digitalization journey. BIMobject for business has now replaced BIManalytics and BIMobject Mail, and we will no longer support those features.

Here you find answers to the most commonly asked question on what the changes mean.

When will BIManalytics and BIMobject Mail close?

BIMobject for business has now replaced BIManalytics and BIMobject Mail, and we will no longer support those features.

The final close date for BIManalytics and BIMobject Mail will be 31 May 2022.

Will all customers automatically have access to all parts of BIMobject for Business?

All customers have access to BIMobject for business, but your level of access to specific features depends on your contract plan. If you are on a Premium or Enterprise plan you will have full access to the Premium or Enterprise features within BIMobject for business as described below.

Where will I see detailed information about users who have downloaded my products?

You can find all the detailed information about users that engaged in your brand and products in the new and improved Audience view. In the audience list you just click a user to see exactly what products have been downloaded.

Power tip! You can save and “listen” to your favourite user segments based on region, occupations, products and more. You can easily create an email campaign and reach out to and retarget the users in the saved audience. You can also grow the number of users by running a search ad.

What filters will show me who has downloaded my products?

The filters available today are Time, Region (country), Downloader/Follower, Occupations, and Products (that users have downloaded).

In the initial version, there is no ability to sort by latest download date or number of downloaded products.

Where will I be able to export data about users who have downloaded my products?

The export functionality hasn’t been migrated yet from BIManalytics, but it will be available by the time we close that product.

What format will the data export be available in?

Most likely the same as today, excel and CSV.

How far back will I have data available?

Today Audience information is available on a 12 month period. We have seen that contacting users that interacted with your products further back doesn’t give the desired results.

Will I continue to get the weekly digest?

There will be a notification but exactly how it will look and what it will contain is still

something we are designing. If you are interested in being an early adopter and giving input directly to our product and design team, let your customer success manager know.

How will I be able to contact users?

In 2021 we launched Email campaigns. With it, you can reach out to users that have engaged in your brand and products. We have expanded your reach, and you can contact both users who have downloaded your products and those who follow your brand.

You can encourage users to engage further with your brand by crafting beautiful messages, with an image, rich text, and a call to action link. After an email has been sent you can track it by accessing report data on open and click-through rates. We see some great results with many early adopters.

You have a number of credits included monthly that you can use for these send-outs as well as search ads. Should you need more you can contact your customer success manager for additional credits.

Can users reply to a campaign?

Today users cannot reply to a campaign but you can include a call to action with a link in your campaign to get users to engage further. This could be a landing page, registration form, webinar, or social media connections, for example.

Will I have a shortcut to contact users on Linkedin?

The feature is not there today, but we are considering adding it. We are looking for customers who are using it today, to verify how it is being used. If you are interested in giving input directly to our product and design team, let your customer success manager know.

How can users contact me or my sales team now?

Users can always contact you through Business messenger, available on your brand and product pages on the BIMobject marketplace. If you have local sales or support representatives set up you receive an email directly to the local corresponding email address.

Can users still request file types that they are missing?

Users can always contact you through Business messenger (see above).

How can I track performance on products?

All product performance for downloads and views can be tracked in Insights.

Where can I find what BIM systems users prefer?

You can see what type of file formats users download. The idea is to add it as a filter to Audience segments in the near future, but this might not happen until the sunset of BIManalytics.

Are there any features that will not be replaced at this time?

There are some features that have had very low usage and that will not be transitioned as is into BIMobject for business:

On a Lead card you will no longer have:

  • Notes

  • Priority

Geographics lead map

You have several ways of seeing and filtering your data geographically in Audience and in Insights. But you will not have a map where you can drill down to a specific location of a lead.

At this time, the following features are being considered from a product design perspective. If you are interested in being an early adopter and giving input directly to our product and design team, let your customer success manager know.

  • Linkedin button - a shortcut to find a user on LinkedIn to contact them

  • Export user list - (see above)

  • See which users have been contacted one time

  • Sort user list by number of downloaded products
