Buying credits

There are three ways to purchase credits if you need more than your available prepaid amount: Subscriptions, Credit Bundles & Pay as you go.

This is an article about purchasing credits if you want to use more of BIMobject's marketing functionality than your prepaid credits allow. For more information on how credits work and how to spend them, check out our article on credits.

Credit Subscriptions

Subscriptions offer your brand the cheapest per-credit option to get more credits, and are only available for purchase by getting in touch with your Customer Success Manager.

The credit subscriptions build on the concept of your monthly available credit balance. In other words, if you have an active credit subscription, you will simply get this amount of credits added to your brand's balance on the 1st of every month.

Credits purchased via subscriptions have the added benefit of being distributable across your teams:

Credit Bundles

Credit bundles can be purchased directly from the business application using a wide array of payment methods. Below is a step-by-step guide for how to purchase credits through the business application (note that all prices are for illustrative purposes only):

Step 1 - selecting a credit bundle

After navigating to the credit bundles page, you will be faced with three standard options:

Before selecting a bundle, please consider the following:

  • Credits purchased this way expire 12 months after date of purchase

  • If you're looking for a different amount of credits than the standard selections allow, you can always contact our Customer Success Department

Step 2 - assign credits

Once you have selected a bundle, a flyout menu appears for you to finalize order details before proceeding to the payment stage. Here, you can select one of two options:

Assign all credits to a single team

If you proceed with this option, all credits will be added to a single selected team. For example, if you selected the 3000 credits bundle, finalizing the purchase will add all 3000 credits to the Default team in the illustration below.

Distribute credits between teams

If you proceed with this option, you can customize the distribution of credits to your teams. For example, if you selected the 3000 credits bundle and you have 3 different teams, you could choose to add 1000 credits to each team, or a completely different split - it's up to you.

Step 3 - proceed to checkout

Once you've made all selections about credits distribution, you can directly proceed to the payment stage by clicking "Checkout". This will take you to a secure payment page powered by Stripe. On this page you can choose a payment method that works for you and proceed accordingly.

Once the payment is accepted, you will automatically be redirected to BIMobject, along with a message stating that the transaction was successful. The credits should be available to use right away, and you should receive a receipt and invoice on the email address you've used to sign up to BIMobject.
